Summer Departure Procedure
(These instructions apply from April 15 thru October 15)
Policies:
- Anything left in the Refrigerator is available for all to use.
- Leave the cottage as clean or cleaner than when you arrived.
- Replace consummables you use (Boat Gas, Paper Products, Charcoal, etc)
Check List:
In the Basement Utility Room:
- Turn off hot water circuit breaker in basement breaker panel except if someone is scheduled to follow you within one day.
Upstairs:
- Clean Cottage (Vacuum, Dust, Wash all Dishes, Wash Clothes (Towels, Bed Linens))
- Empty the refrigerator of all dated food. (Everything expiring within 1 week even if you didn't bring
it.)
- Everyone sign the Guest Book. A group sign is not permitted. Not signing the guest book can have repurcussions!!!
- Place all the garbage in green garbage cart, Plastic and glass recyclables are placed in the Yellow/Green cart. Place both carts at the side of the road on Sunday Night. -- (Pick up
is Monday at 7 am)
- (When road restrictions exist, recyclables may be placed in a plastic bag set along side of the garbage cart.)
- Turn off all lights
- Lock all doors (Cottage (4 doors), Boat House, Garage)
